Bollegraaf and Lubo Recycling Solutions has completed the installation of an automated household battery sorting system for Peperzeel in Lelystad, the Netherlands.

The facility processes up to 2.5 tonnes of batteries per hour, using X-ray sorting technology to separate batteries by size and type with a reported purity of up to 98%.

The project supports the growing need for efficient battery recycling infrastructure as Europe continues to expand the recovery of critical raw materials.
