Barcelona-based PICVISA will showcase its latest technological advancements at IFAT 2026, including the launch of a new metals vertical and breakthroughs in plastic, glass, and textile sorting.

Rejuvenation from within – the MSort technology helps a 10 to 15 years old machine to be upgraded to the latest state of the art, ensuring it can continue to operate for many years to come. An upgrade enables HR (heat-resistant) glass or plastics to be removed in a single sorting step alongside CSP (ceramics, stones, porcelain). It can hardly be more cost-effective, as experts can also integrate this upgrade into existing machines.

TOMRA Recycling, the global leader in sensor-based sorting, introduces FINDER™, its most flexible and reliable metals sorting platform with integrated AI capabilities.

Machinex will present its new artificial intelligence platform at IFAT Munich 2026 (May 4–8, Germany), marking a major step forward in intelligent waste sorting systems.

inSystem B.V. introduces the New Gravity Sorter, a free-fall AI optical sorter designed for precise separation of complex mixed material streams. The system continuously tracks each object during free fall, calculates its individual trajectory, and ejects target materials with high accuracy, ensuring stable and consistent sorting performance.

Cologne, April 2026 – STEINERT will be presenting new and advanced sorting solutions at IFAT 2026 (4–7 May in Munich) at Stand 451/552 in Hall B6. The focus will be on the STEINERT PLASMAX, with an upgrade of the LIBS flagship for aluminium sorting.
